It is with the deepest regret we share the resignation of Beverly Ikola, trustee, which was accepted at last night’s board meeting.  Beverly served on the Bessemer Township Board as a trustee for several years and as a member on a number of committees representing our township. Beverly was the spark that started the initiative to preserve our 49959 zip code.  We wish to extend our deepest gratitude for her contributions and appreciation for her efforts in helping to preserve the past and embrace the future for the township.  Thank you, Beverly, for serving your community, and our best wishes to you and your family.

As a result of the action last night, The Bessemer Township Board is excited to announce the appointment of our new trustee Steven Selin. Steven brings a strong commitment to the community and a wealth of experience as our volunteer fire department Chief.  Welcome Steven to the board of trustees.  We look forward to your contribution of service within our community!

We also share with you preparations are underway for the Rumble on the River!!! Look for our 50/50 ticket sellers at the flashing light on Highway 2 across from the entrance to Ramsay!!!
