Qualified Forest Program

If you own 20+ Acres of non-homestead forestland, you may be eligible to reduce your property taxes! The Qualified Forest Program will reduce the land taxes as well as prevent the uncapping of the land’s taxable value. To enroll you must have and follow a forest management plan written by a qualified forester.
