NOTICE

TO RAMSAY RESIDENTS AND THE PUBLIC

Out of concern for public safety, the Main Street bridge which crosses over the Black River near Eureka 5 Mine location (aka “Buzzy’s junk yard”) has been closed to all traffic until further notice.

A hole and void has developed at the east end of the bridge’s abutment. The Gogebic County Road Commission will be deferring the issue to the Michigan State bridge inspector to determine the extent of damage, cause and method of repair.
