NOTICE TO BID – BESSEMER TOWNSHIP

The Township of Bessemer has declared two land parcels owned by the Township as excess inventory and are offering them for sale to the public. Bessemer Township will receive bids for vacant lands known as;

Horseshoe Bend, 2701-21-300-365 commonly known as E8178 Horseshoe Bend in the SWW1/4 of the NE1/4 Section 13 T47N, R46W Bessemer Township, Gogebic County, Michigan. 0.34 acres. Minimum bid is $1,000.00.

Granite St, 2701-21-401-400, commonly known as E7711 Granite St. in the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 Section 14 T47N, R46W Bessemer Township, Gogebic County, Michigan.

2.84 acres. Minimum bis is $5,000.00.

Properties are sold as is. Successful bidder will be responsible for all cost associated with the sale and transfer of property. The Bessemer Township Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Questions may be answered by contacting the Supervisor at 906-667-0423.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 12:00 noon, Friday, September 6, 2024. Bid envelope must be clearly marked “Horseshoe Bend or Granite St.” (bids shall be separate if biding on both) and should be mailed or delivered to the Bessemer Township Hall, N10338 Mill Street, P.O. Box 304, Ramsay MI 49959. Bids will be opened and awarded at the regular meeting of the Township Board on September 9, 2024 at 5:00pm.
